Research for a feature film. Help with accuracy of a scene in Immigration Removal Centre

Post by Lucyresearch » Tue Jan 09, 2018 7:54 pm

Hello

I am doing research for the screenwriter of a feature film. The two main characters are an asylum seeking couple. At the beginning of the film there is a scene in an Immigration Removal Centre. The couple are being released on temporary admission. I would be very grateful of communicating with anyone who has knowledge or experience of such a situation. I need to check what is said by the Home Office worker to the asylum seekers and what sort of paperwork is given to them. The writer would like to make sure that he portrays this scene in an authentic way. If when the film is made it makes a profit then 20% will be given to a relevant UK charity. If anyone can help with this and spare 10 minutes or so to chat on the phone or over email I would be most grateful. Please message me on here or email me directly at
