I wad refused again this month with 33 points. Last month it didn't work out too.

Curious to know if anyone with salary of around 30k or below with RLMT got 'rejected' (not 'refused')?

Wondering if HO would even bother to review very low scoring applications when they already have lots of applications to review, far above the monthly allocation quota.

Also, anyone who got 'rejected' in previous months, but 'refused' this month?

I was refused with 45 points. I'll try again next month, but both February and March will be tough with only 1000 certificates available each month. This backlog probably won't resolve itself until April.

I think February is 1500 and March is 1000. This is what i saw from UK gov website for last year.

When was your RLMT done. Don't loose hope February it might decrease, if not February you have April where the quota is 2000.

Not all jobs roles in 2136 are shortage occupation.

Not every job on 2136 fall under Shortage. Mine is also 2136 but not Shortage

FOr 2136 to be qualified under Shortage, there are certain criteria:
- Role should demand atleast 5 years of exp as Team Lead exp
or
- Role should require 2D/3D animation skills part of the job

Additionally, employer should be a qualified one to request RCOS under Shortage

Would anyone mind telling me what industry you are all in?
I’m trying to see if there is any kind of pattern like a lot of applicats from one industry which may indicate the need for it as a skills shortage if all these companys have needed to look out of UK.
I’m in finance.

Also if the RLMT expires after 6 months from when the job was first advertised I’m assuming it will need to be re-advertised after that point?

Yes don't loose hope. Last time I tried for Sure au which I could not go through though I had done well and it went well and I got offer from UK so good things will happen am confident that within. Next 3-4 months it will come to normal. So never loose hope. I know it's easier said than done but whatever happens happens for good. Chill

If our applications don’t have enough points will HO still review them and inform our employers if anything was wrong with them?

Yes, if there is something wrong with your application, then the rejection email will reach your employer's mailbox, along with the reasons for rejection (RLMT not properly conducted etc.).

If there is nothing wrong with your application and quota has been reached, then 'refusal' email is sent across.

What's your score?

But, do you think HO has got time to evaluate each and every application when the demand is such a high! I am not sure those who got 'refused' have passed the RMLT and other evaluation.

Hi Friends,
I just got reply from my solicitor and my RCoS is rejected/refused as the Cap has been oversubscribed.
My total points is 55 and not listed in shortage occupation
I will reapply for February month and see.

Job not on shortage occupation list.
Applied for December allocation as well and was refused.

But looks like this month also it'll be refused.
