Seems we are in the same boat then
Let's see if any news today.. Best of luck let's hope the cut off point can drop for everyone this month...
Hello, What's your application points?
20 for RLMT and 25 for salary (£49k) so 45 point.. HO is probably overwhelmed again still no news... Did you apply this month as well?
yes

Hi ALL , Happy New Year!
How come RLMT is 20 ? Should it not be 30 ?
I'm also waiting for my RCOS approval . It was not approved in December due to Overwhelming applications and my score was 50 ( RLMT - 30 and Salary - 20 ). My company re-applied in Jan.
I'm waiting again too to hear back .

Thanks. Then my score should be 20 for RLMT +
How is the salary points calculated if mine is 35 k ? Is it 15 ? or 20 ? Big confusion.
Also my status is 'Under Review' - Does that mean - the decision will be decided later after higher salaries are granted after 3/4 days?

If salary is 35K and its RLMT, then your score will be 35
Yes, applications with high score will be evaluated first
Looking at last 2 months experience, its not going to happen in 3-4 days probably

My employer has re-applied this month. I score 33 points: 20 for RMLT and 13 for salary.
What happened in December seems to be an anomaly. It just doesn't make sense. The minimum points have been 21 for over a year. How can it all of a sudden go up to 55 ?? I just don't understand.

That happened in December as there were too many applicants under Shortage Occupation list
If again high number of Shortage Occupation applicants have applied, then it will Ben a similar situation

I am hoping that we would get some update by Tuesday /Wednesday at least considering 5 working days from 11th, though it all depends on volumes and capacity of HO team. Last month also ppl with higher points started receiving updates in 3-4 working days.

Apparently as of Friday (12th) they were still looking at them and were going to start notifying employers within 5 working days after that...so it’s possible some could be looking at later in the week.

Hello everyone,
My salary is 42k basic, 3k relocation fee and total package becomes 48k. So for points which one do they consider 48k or 42K?
Thanks,
Kiccha

Apart from basic, if car allowance is included in offer, I believe it will be considered. One time allowance like relocation allowance, allowance which is not guaranteed like bonus will not be counted. May be there is more to it but this is what I understood from immigration guidance

@Ashish I don't think there is some guidance on how the salary structure is considered for points allocation.
I think my points would be 42 (RLMT+42K salary) my employer will be applying for COS in Feb.
Hope min points for January goes to 40 or 35 points and Feb becomes 25 -30 so that it can help so many aspirants over here.
Thanks,
Kiccha

Yes Kiccha, you are right.
Its good if they give you 25 points for salary rather than 22.

Good question !! I don't think anyone including HO knows that
For your benefit, There is no process that HO follow to fix the minimum points
It all depends on the volume of application that gets submitted for each month
Only after allocating all available quota, HO come to know that minimum points scored by successful applications
Hope that explains

Thanks, really helpful! Have another one, I've been reapplying since August and I think now my RLMT is expired (It's been 6 months since it was done). I'm thinking this means that I should give up? Does anyone know anything about RLMT expiry dates?

Do you mean, you haven't been successful since August every month allocation?

I've gotten 1 rejection for December because of high demand, and no response for other months. I'm just concerned that this means I'm now too late because of RLMT expiry.
