Tier 2 (General) VISA and RLMT? - Working with the same sponsor

Hi all,

If one is currently working with a sponsor under Tier 2 (General) VISA, and his/her job title and job description changes reflecting career progression, but the job continues to be with the same sponsor and in the same sector, does one have to 1) Make a fresh Tier 2 VISA application, and 2) Fulfil the requirements of RLMT?

My current SOC is 2211-Medical Practitioners. I am inclined to believe that the SOC should stay the same as I will continue as a Medical Practitioner but the Job Title and salary description will change.
