Tax credits and ILR application

Post by MsTbaby » Mon Jan 22, 2018 11:07 pm

Hello everyone,I recently applied for ILR using set o form as I have completed six years discretionary leave.Iam 27 years old .I came here at the age of 15years old with my dad on a work permit dependant visa.I subsequently got 3x2 discretionary leave .I have been living alone since I was 19 and work as a nurse.I fell pregnant last year and I’m a single mom now.My baby is 11 months .My baby has a british passport as his dad hold ILR.I sent my own ILR application on 07/01/18.I hav received an email confirming that they have received the application .Since my baby was born ;I have been receiving child tax credits and child benefit .Today I got a letter saying that they think my child’s father might be living at my address. And that ;if it’s the case I would have to pay the money back .I have to reply by 19/02.We Don’t live together but he has some of car insurance and car and bank still registered at mine coz he says where he lives it’s not safe .Its house sharing and he says some of his letters go missing .If Hmrc feel that they have over paid me;does this affect my ILR application ?Will It be classed as criminal conviction .I am really worried.I have been googling trying to find anything on the internet.😢

Does your DLR visa allowed you claim benefits?? Does it say 'no recourse to public funds'??
