Long Term residence permit - experiences

Hi all,

has anyone applied for an LTR - long term residence permit (which is basically a GNIB for 5 years). The website quotes a minimal package of documents - only work permits, copies of all passports, and a valid GNIB/IRP copy.

any recommendations on what else should you send?

also - how long did it take you to get it? The website says 6-8months, however I heard from another forum that it took someone only 2 months
