Hello,
I am just going through guidance for ‘’Continuous Stay’’ need your valuable help on this please:
As per new rules qualifying period can be ‘’counted backward whichever is most beneficial to the applicant’’:
• The date of application
• The date of decision
• Any date up to 28 days after the date of application
My tier 2 visa was initially approved on 4-January-2018.
Due to the travel I made for Tier2 work related purposes (which I can get letter from employee confirming this) I will be qualified from 15-February-2018 by considering above statement. Can I use this date 15-February-2018 for 6.1 in Set (O) application form?
6.1 When did you (the main applicant) first enter the UK? This refers to the date you entered the UK at the beginning of the period of stay on which this application is based.
Actually I was away from UK from 12-January-2018 till 23-February-2018. Can I use 15-February-2018 for 6.1? Please can you advise?
Based on this I will calculate continuous stay backwards from 15-February-2018. Please advise if not let me know if you want to provide more information to support this. Many thanks for your wonderful suggestions for other applicants. Your responses for other queries are great and helpful Thanks for your valuable suggestions .
