There is someone at 55 points got approved yesterday being on non-shortage list

Today we may hear some more approvals which will clear what is the approved score trending

So far we can say 55 is the cutoff (apart from one of the doctor's 43)

Good luck everyone. I'm not feeling so hopeful on the numbers this month. Still no 40k approvals apart from one doctor. The timeline wasn't very different last month.

Still really hoping and praying for a miracle though.

I just wonder whether the top sponsoring countries in the UK get any preference, hypothetical but you never know.
Hi krimurthy, what do you mean by top sponsoring countries?

Surely the cut off couldn’t be 60k (I’m going off the person that was told they only just scraped in with 60k). That would be terrible. I wasn’t expecting to get my cos this month but I’m hoping the score would at least drop again.
I mean the top tier 2 visa sponsors like big 4.

Don't worry, be patient

It's only 3rd day....can wait till end of the week

in the previous months, people had to wait for more than 20 days for results

I don't think the cut-off is at £60K - I'm sure it's less. In my particular case, the extra scrutiny was around my job title as opposed to salary. According to my lawyer, the Home Office places greater scrutiny on all 'Business Development Manager' job titles (which is what I am) as the Home Offices gets inundated with these applications and the types of BD Managers and their responsibilities vary greatly from industry to industry so they have to check this more thoroughly...that's my understanding and obviously speculative only!

Can understand it's very frustrating you have job yet you don't know whether/when you are leaving.

I feel your pain. I've lived in the UK for the past several years but have had to come back to my home country to reapply (was previously on a Tier 5). My whole life including friends, family, boyfriend, flat, job ect. are all waiting for me back in the UK but I'm stuck in limbo due to this RCoS wait.

It's a very frustrating process at the moment and I struggle to see the light at the end of the tunnel if my RCos doesn't get approved soon.

Still. I'm hoping that the numbers go down and we see some positive traction for this process. Wishing everyone will get through over the next few months!

Any chance you can wait till we open the March RCoS topic and then post?

Or start a new topic outside of the February RCoS one with your questions??

I can feel your pain totally. We actually rented out our house (cos its super hard to get tenants here),sold furniture, and then, now we are staying in a well, not-so-very-great-living-conditions ourselves. Our lawyer was very confident that our application will be through and its been a never ending wait. Praying for all those who are in a nerve wracking situation as us !!!! Fingers crossed....

Two junior doctors were accepted today. Their salaries were above 50,000 but below 55,000. There is some strange delay going on because even some of the shortage occupation doctors have not received their CoS yet.

I wish the home office could see this forum to know what everyone is going through because of these ridiculous visa restrictions. Brexit is happening and they have a shortage in so many industries but they still want to keep hard working skilled immigrants out.

Yes RLMT done but still you need to wait for RCOS and there is no change to 2011 quota. Very disappointing.

My CoS was granted today, exceptionally.

I had 50 points and my job is neither on any shortage job lists nor am I a doctor.

I have no idea why it was granted exceptionally, it's just what the consultants told me.

Hope that helps!

Hi, this was my first attempt.

The application was submitted on 2nd Feb.

So I don't know what could be the reason for getting it 'exceptionally'.
