I believe exceptional approvals are not outside monthly allocations. They do reduce monthly allocations quota.sptula wrote: ↑Wed Feb 14, 2018 6:08 pmGuysPlabber_123 wrote: ↑Wed Feb 14, 2018 5:52 pmSo yesterday was 55. Today was 50. Hopefully tomorrow is 45 and so on.
Understand
This one is approved exceptionally outside monthly allocation .
That's good. Has anything mentioned in email or on portal about the reason for considering it on exceptional basis? Did your employer send any email to HO to consider your application or urgent basis?
Are you already on a tier 2 visa? If so you will need an unrestricted CoS. This thread is for those who are applying for their first tier 2 visa and require a restricted CoS.tej_san wrote: ↑Wed Feb 14, 2018 7:40 pmThat's good. My visa is expiring next month and have been trying for last 3-4 months! Anyone has any idea if they consider it urgently if our visa is expiring soon. If not approved this month, we'll have to leave the country!
Yes, exceptional cases also fall under monthly quotaamanlamba1 wrote: ↑Wed Feb 14, 2018 6:29 pmI believe exceptional approvals are not outside monthly allocations. But the point scored by exceptional approval does not give us the actual picture of the score that normal approvals happen
with that exceptional approval at 50 points, some people on the forum are thinking applications at 50 are getting approved and next will be 45.
If someone thinks like that, its 200% wrong
We dont know what score the normal applications are being approved.
Someone mentioned they are approved at 55 which can be taken as base for now
User 'sptula' is currently on a Tier 2 Dependent visa.tej_san wrote: ↑Wed Feb 14, 2018 8:14 pm@ sptula : May I know on which visa are you currently in the UK?sptula wrote: ↑Wed Feb 14, 2018 7:50 pmYes, exceptional cases also fall under monthly quotaamanlamba1 wrote: ↑Wed Feb 14, 2018 6:29 pmI believe exceptional approvals are not outside monthly allocations. True, 50 points would have got approved in Jan, but only if they have applied in Jan....this may be one that has been submitted after Jan cutoff or many other reasonshopeful4000 wrote: ↑Wed Feb 14, 2018 8:23 pmevery month they give exceptional visas to 10 people and this is no indication that they did not meet the cut off score and people who have 50 would have got it in Jan as the cut off was 46 so all repeat applications are less than 46 so there is a good chance it will fall to below 39
Thanks Moderator!CR001 wrote: ↑Wed Feb 14, 2018 8:16 pmUser 'sptula' is currently on a Tier 2 Dependent visa.tej_san wrote: ↑Wed Feb 14, 2018 8:14 pm@ sptula : May I know on which visa are you currently in the UK?sptula wrote: ↑Wed Feb 14, 2018 7:50 pmYes, exceptional cases also fall under monthly quotaamanlamba1 wrote: ↑Wed Feb 14, 2018 6:29 pm

Yes, but I am a dependent and not eligible to switch within the UK. So, RCoS is the only option and I am following the correct thread.Plabber_123 wrote: ↑Wed Feb 14, 2018 7:42 pmAre you already on a tier 2 visa? If so you will need an unrestricted CoS. to be frank all assumptions and projection can be wrong....some of us are hanging on this thread for more than 4 months now...hopeful4000 wrote: ↑Wed Feb 14, 2018 8:47 pmagree but the last date for submitting for jan was 5th Jan so the qn is how many over 50 k salary submitted in Feb statistically the trend in Jan shows that 46 was the cut off and it declined from dec
It is a declining trend hopefully and we apply the same 9 point reduction we get 37 but can we assume the trend ?
NO, and thats not possible too as per my understandingtej_san wrote: ↑Wed Feb 14, 2018 8:45 pmThanks Moderator!CR001 wrote: ↑Wed Feb 14, 2018 8:16 pmUser 'sptula' is currently on a Tier 2 Dependent visa.tej_san wrote: ↑Wed Feb 14, 2018 8:14 pm@ sptula : May I know on which visa are you currently in the UK?sptula wrote: ↑Wed Feb 14, 2018 7:50 pm

@ sptula: Are you already working with the employer who is applying for your RCoS?
That's possible, Tier 2 dependent can work in the UK and the employer can sponsor him/her if they wish. That means you are either not working or working for some employer, but have a job offer on hand from another employer. Is your employer willing to wait until your RCoS gets approved?
It’s not that straight forward in terms of predicting unfortunately.hopeful4000 wrote: ↑Wed Feb 14, 2018 8:47 pmagree but the last date for submitting for jan was 5th Jan so the qn is how many over 50 k salary submitted in Feb statistically the trend in Jan shows that 46 was the cut off and it declined from dec

Yes so it's not outside monthly allocation. And the whole point is that if they give say 500 COS on exceptional basis to NHS. Monthly quota will reduce by 500 and all others may suffer. Let's hope for the best.sptula wrote: ↑Wed Feb 14, 2018 7:50 pmYes, exceptional cases also fall under monthly quotaamanlamba1 wrote: ↑Wed Feb 14, 2018 6:29 pmI believe exceptional approvals are not outside monthly allocations.
