Not yet. I think they send out emails a couple of days before the meeting if the quota is not oversubscribed.45, what is yours?
Is it always the case that they’ll ask for additional documents?

I thought this was only the case if the employer didn’t include everything they needed to in the application or HO required further information because there was some conjecture.
Not sure, but i think they ask to submit the documents after initial application if your application scores above the cutoff limit.
I might be wrong.
My employer has submitted three times and has been asked for the documents three times - same letter each time. The first time they submitted, there was an issue with the application my employer detected (RLMT done wrong) and my employer cancelled the application. The second time they submitted, the application did not make the cut off for January points. This last time, my employer wrote to UKVI and confirmed that our application is valid (fingers crossed enough points now!) So, I think it's something they send out each time automatically.
I see. So it seems documents are requested for every application regardless of points for that month.

What is the source of this scoring system. I tried search on the net and could not find this, I am working with an reputed international agency for my transfer and they have refused answering the question on how much salary will translate to how much points as they do not have this information from HO. The HO website itself has discontinued the point based calculator. Can someone share the official source of this salary to point mapping. Hope we dont stay misinformed in this case.

https://www.gov.uk/guidance/immigration ... attributes

Please check tier 2 general limit table 11D.

In most cases your score will be 20 for RLMT + whatever salary you are receiving. If yours is a PHD level occupation or on the shortage list you may score higher.

In December the cut off score was 55 (salary of 55,000) and in January the cut off score was 46 (salary of 50,000) due to over-subscription.

Once cos no. Is allocate , While assigning the cos, the payment is required ( both for cos and skill immigration charge)

Hi Everyone please post any updates on this month's allocation along with your points so we can get a fair idea about our chances. Hope it goes down to 35 this month (Don't mint if it goes to 21 but that is highly unlikely). Good luck everyone.

Thanks,
Kiccha

The logic behind the such high points is still indigestible on the cause of nurses hiring. Nurses are anyway on the shortage job list so automatically they are getting 130 points straightaway.

Hope someone can clear this understanding.

Since they have more points and the No of nurses applied for the COS will be more it will reduce the Cos for others and then only the applications with high points are considered first hence increasing the cut off points. Simple.

Thanks,
Kiccha

Good luck everyone!

I have 31 points, applied in December and January but my employer is holding off from applying in February. They want to wait and see what will happen this month with the quotas.

Having really mixed thoughts on the result of this month. Some days I think this whole situation was an anomaly and that the quotas will go back down sooner rather than later. But then some days I think this backlog is going to hold things up for awhile. I guess the only thing we can all do is wait and see, nothing we can do to control this. This is just such an unfortunate situation. Hoping the quota will be at least 35 points for this month.

Please post and share information as it comes in. Hopefully we start hearing things from HO soon

Was your application submitted this month? Why did you apply in February if you got COS in December?

Hello friends. I am a junior doctor. A few of my colleagues said they have received their CoS. As we belong to a facebook group I cannot ask them their salaries but it is usually not above 50,000. So the score till now is probably 45.

A word of caution though. In December and Jan a few NHS doctors in non shortage occupation jobs got their CoS even with a very low salary of about 30,000 but that was very few.
