Can I Register a Limited Company and be a Director?

Hello everyone,

This forum has been so helpful and I genuinely appreciate that. Thank you to everyone who take their time to respond.

On a Tier 2 visa, am I allowed to register a company and can I be a Director in one? I am looking to start a business but want to make sure I do not break any of the restrictions on my visa. What are the boundaries of what I can do with a Limited Company please?

You can, as can anyone in the world, but you can't trade in the UK through it.

I would suggest you wait until you have obtained ILR later this year before you 'start your own business'.
