Spouse Visa Supporting Doc Checklist and Some Questions

Post by candy52094 » Wed Feb 14, 2018 3:21 pm

Hello,
I am sending in my application from the US. Could you please let me know if I am missing anything in terms of supporting documents before I send them in?

Thanks!

Introduction
1. Passports (Past and Present) with 2 passport pictures in a ziplock bag
2. Sponsor’s Letter
3. Applicant’s Letter
4. Table of Contents

Applicant’s Materials
5. Online Application
6. Application Payment Confirmation
7. IHS Payment Confirmation
8. Appendix 2
9. Biometrics Appointment Form Stamped

Financial Requirement
11. 6 months Payslips (print outs)
12. 6 months Bank Statements (stamped and signed by bank)
13. Employment Letter (original)
14. Employment Contract (original)

Sponsor’s Material
15. Color Copy of Passport

Relationship Evidence
16. Marriage Certificate (original)
17. Photograph Evidence (5 pages, including pictures from wedding)
18. Communication Evidence (a couple screenshots of calls and texts every three months of our three year relationship)

Proof of Accomodation
19. Accommodation Letter from Owner of House (original)
20. Land Registry (copy of letter sent to house and online printed copy)
21. Council Tax Statement (copy)
22. Pictures of Property (to show rooms)

For the proof of accommodation, the land registry document from the online version has my sponsor's father's name included in it (as well as his mothers). His father passed away so would it be beneficial to write a letter to explain this and include the death certificate as everything else related to accommodation is from his mother? Or will this be more confusing and we can leave it as is?

Also, the only things I need back are my passports and the marriage certificate. I already have copies of everything else for my own records. Do I need to provide copies for everything or just the passport and marriage certificate?

For Appendix 2 should I include my sponsor's direct line manager or the HR contact (they were the ones to write the work confirmation letter)?

Thank you!
