When does the leave to remain end on the 5-year family route?

Post by RiverSong » Sun Feb 25, 2018 12:07 pm

Hi,

If my BRP expiry date is a month after I have completed the 5 years with FLR(M), is it okay to apply (by post) less than a week before the expiry date of the BRP?

Or does the application need to be made before the full 5-year period has been completed (so in my case a month earlier)?

Thank you.

You may apply for SET(M) no sooner than 28 days prior to the completion of your 5-year qualifying period and before your leave expires.
