Gross. You can also contact your HR to confirm with her what salary they used for the CoS application.sameeraa91 wrote: ↑Fri Mar 09, 2018 7:47 amIs your gross salary or net salary used to calculate points?
Does your expert have any predictions for April?weworkuk wrote: ↑Thu Mar 08, 2018 12:32 pmFrom my immigration specialist comment here : Below 50k (50points) will not accept in this month.
Furthermore information, you can find the previous thread in Feb/Jan.
My score is 45points (45K) and I hope in April will be okay at least between 40 and 50 points.
I didn't apply in this month, but I hope there is some magic situation. Best luck for all of you.
Please don't be so optimistic as its looking very clear now that the numbet of Tier 2 CoS will drastically drop from April 2018 onwards as for net migration, this is the only route left. Tier 1 have the last chance in April 2018 to apply for ILR and if they don't, then no more extensions for them in their visa. Tier 4 is student route nd Tier 5 is limited 2 years exchange visit visa.Plabber_123 wrote: ↑Thu Mar 08, 2018 9:35 pmHey Shebahanaa, hang in there. The main reason this happened was because of the NHS winter crisis which lead to a mass recruitment of overseas nurses as well as a shortage of CoS' owing to the end of the financial year. From April onward the score should gradually come back down to normal since there are a lot more CoS available and hopefully the nurse recruitment subsides.shebahanna wrote: ↑Thu Mar 08, 2018 9:25 pmHi everybody. Nice to see you all again. May we never have to see each other on here again someday!
30 points, non shortage, refused in Feb, trying again for March pessimistically. I was on a tier 4, but my employer's sponsor licence wasn't approved until just SEVEN days after my visa expired. I packed a bag and was sent on a flight with next to no notice. I didn't even get to say goodbye to my flatmates, because I never imagined I wouldn't be coming back. Anyone starting to rethink plans? I'm starting to worry that it's not just a matter of waiting anymore, but that it might not ever happen. I think I can manage to control my depression induced by this situation until May's allocation, but after that I think I'll need to move on.
Apologies for the rant. It's just... it's been hard. If anyone out there feels the same, know that you're not alone in this.

And feel free to say whatever you need to say over here. Im sure nobody minds.
In such situations I prefer to be optimistic. We will get a clearer picture of how things are during the March allocation on Monday. If the score remains the same then there are good chances that the score will get lower in April and continue to do so in the following months.plabo wrote: ↑Sat Mar 10, 2018 4:02 pmPlease don't be so optimistic as its looking very clear now that the numbet of Tier 2 CoS will drastically drop from April 2018 onwards as for net migration, this is the only route left. Go for AMC or USMLE. Life sucks here in the NHS.
You can wait and see but how things are going, I have 5 colleagues in the Trust now who were on Tier 2 and ALL have been refused extensions (3 of them twice now) and are heading back home.Plabber_123 wrote: ↑Sat Mar 10, 2018 4:57 pmIn such situations I prefer to be optimistic. I do not know what you are talking about the other visa categories. From my knowledge they have doubled the number of tier 1 visas this year. They have made the rules easier for tier 4 students to get a job and they directly get an unrestricted CoS for their tier 2 visa.
To me the NHS is the best healthcare system in the world and I would be happy to work in it. If you are unhappy I would suggest you do something about it. Other than that I respect your opinion and of course there is a chance things may never get better but we need to be patient till April and see how things play out.
everyone here is wanting to enter the UK for different reasons and our choice is our own - please remember that.plabo wrote: ↑Sat Mar 10, 2018 4:02 pmPlease don't be so optimistic as its looking very clear now that the numbet of Tier 2 CoS will drastically drop from April 2018 onwards as for net migration, this is the only route left. Yes she did, we're not entirely sure why she was rejected back then. Even if she were to be accepted in April it would take until at least May for her Visa to come. It's put a real strain on our relationship and I can't see it lasting much longer if she's rejected again this month.Plabber_123 wrote: ↑Sat Mar 10, 2018 1:24 pmAre you sure she applied in November? The minimum score was 21 back then.
Also the score should gradually come down from April onward. Hopefully it reaches to 30 soon.

This is my 5th time. I have 42 points and have been unsuccessful in past 4 months. Since December till February, it is understandable that i did not meet the minimum points requirement but i clearly did not understand why was i refused in November 2017. So i asked my employer about it and they gave me a reason which was shocking. WE SUBMITTED YOUR RCOS APPLICATION AND UK HOME OFFICE DID NOT RECEIVE IT. WHEN WE MADE A FOLLOW UP AFTER THE MEETING DATE IN NOVEMBER, THEY SAID WE HAVE NOT RECEIVED IT AND TOLD US TO APPLY AGAIN IN NEXT MONTH. And then, the points were raised from next month so i am suffering due to somebody else's mistake.
I have been reading the posts for past 4 months so i have read all you guys' posts but i did not have an account to make a post.
The issue is the RLMT till when you think you can apply?
HI All,
Hi Ansari, ask your HR if she has been putting your gross or basic salary on the CoS application. I know a lot of HRs (including my own) who are used to only putting the basic salary. My basic salary is 36k and my HR has finally agreed to put my gross salary (48k) from this month onward.

If you do get a refusal this month make sure to have a proper talk with your HR and request her to include your salary with all your enhancements, banding etc. With that salary you should have got your CoS in Jan itself. April is our best bet and we should all maximise our chances and give it our best shot.Ansari37 wrote: ↑Mon Mar 12, 2018 1:06 pmHi plabberPlabber_123 wrote: ↑Mon Mar 12, 2018 12:41 pmHi Ansari, ask your HR if she has been putting your gross or basic salary on the CoS application. Yeah you are very right ...that might be the reason ...but now it's too late to ask from her .Applications have already been submitted... well let see .
Hope for the best
