PBS Dependant extension with main applicant on ILR

Post by arts99 » Wed Mar 07, 2018 11:32 am

It will be great if someone can please confirm the following:

Does time limit apply on Tier 2 dependants with regards to how long they can stay in UK as Tier 2 Dependants when the main sponsor has acquired ILR status?

For example what happens if a dependant has already spent 6 years as Tier 2 dependant and unable to apply for ILR because of not being able to pass the English and life in UK test; will they get further extension?

Thank you

There is no time limit. They can continue apply for extensions.

Kindly also refrain from tagging onto topics that are 3 years old. I have split your post to its own thread (this one).

Thank you very much for clarifying.

I thought since the post topic was relevant and thread was open, responding to it will be better. Now that I know its better to create new ones I will do accordingly when required.
