SOC code for development Manager post but with Bachelor's Degree

Hello,
I am about to receive a CoS from a company in UK. I have applied for a position of Electronics Development Manager.
The SOC code that the employer has used 2124 code. But since the job role states development manager the are getting into a feeling if 2150 is more relavent code.
Highest qualification I hold is Bachelor's Degree where as 2150 is categorised under PhD. Can some one guide me which is the correct code one should use for this case.
Also is it possible to change the code after the COS is granted.
Does it matter if the code used in labor market test and the one used in CoS is different.

You can't change the soc after Cos is issued as then the RLMT is irrelevant.
