Hello all!
Does anyone know if it's a problem if more than one company applies for a restricted CoS for the same employee at the same time?
I've been really anxious since hearing of all the rejected CoS so have been interviewing at several companies and have received several job offers. So I will be a new employee to all these companies, apparently have passed the RLMT, with points ranging from 50 to 36.
Any advice on what to do?
TIA!

You can only have one CoS assigned to you as far as I understand.

So if Home Office receive multiple applications of CoS for the same person, will they reject all of them?

Applying for a CoS allocation is different to Assigning a CoS to you.

Thank you. Yes I meant the assigning of a CoS.

You cannot have more than one CoS Assigned to you as far as I understand.
If more than one is, you would have to choose and tell whichever sponsor you do not wish to join, to withdraw their CoS assigned to you.

There won't be such a case as "multiple employer registering for CoS for same person". If a CoS has already exited on the System by one employer for this person. Other employers won't be able to even submit the CoS application and assign a CoS to the same person.

Members have reported on the forum of having to choose between two employers who have CoS already. Might be for UCoS though.

I had an UCoS before and another employer was trying to assign me one but told me they couldn't proceed on their system as said I had already got one, so I had to ring the first employer to ask them to withdraw. The minute they withdrew, the second employer could then immediately proceed and assigned me one

Ideally, you should have accepted an offer from an employer before they initiate applying for and assigning CoS to you. You can have as many offers as possible but you should only accept one. You can delay your response to others until you have your visa sorted out, if you are worried.
