Tier 1 G and AR Refused Need 5 months to complete 10 years

Hi Everyone,

I came to the UK 9 years 7 months ago as a student. Did my masters and got Tier 1 G. Applied for ILR in May 2016 which was refused last month after which I applied for AR which is refused as well. The reason for refusal was amendments in 10/11. I am looking to do a judicial review of the decision but solicitor is advising to apply for FLR-FP (private life) application as well to complete my 10 year period in the UK(5 months left). My leave 3C has also been ended and I needed to leave my professional job for this reason. I live alone in the UK and only have friends.

I am looking forward to receive some helpful advise in regards to Judicial Review and FLR(FP). Please let me know whether or not I apply for JR/FLR(FP)

JR has nothing to do with immigration application. So you can apply for a new application and pursue JR is parallel. As your are now considered an overstayer, your long residence clock stops. Also the tax amendment issue will lead to a 100% refusal under SET(LR) too

Hi Zimba,

Thank you for your quick and valuable response. I was more looking to get an answer on FLR(FP) as this type is advised by 2 different solicitors. I am just wondering if this is the correct fresh application type they are advising or is there another better category in which I can apply? Also is this a correct category as I stated that I live alone and don't have nay family but just friends in the UK.

What will be your claim to qualify for submitting a FLR(FP) application??

HO don't like 'frivolous and vexatious' applications simply to 'buy time'. They are generally refused quite quickly as they have no basis, even more so in the circumstances you explain.
