Uk Tier 2 dependent visa requirements

Hi!

I am processing my husband's dependent visa as well.
1. He worked in Middle East before for 12months and from the website it says that he need to produce police clearance, however, we have n contact from ME anymore. What is the alternative for this?

2. Maintenance funds: i have all our savings necessary for the application however, the bank refuses to issue a letter certifying that the savings has been there for 3mos already, is a bank statement enough already?

2.1 does he need to have his own saving or my savings is enough to cover for both of us...

I need help everyone

Just i like to know, how much money do we need as maintenance funds? Ive been workng here in Uk for 1yr and 5mos now, under tier 2 general visa and im planning to take my husband. But im confuse with maintenance funds, do i still need to have a saving amounting to £900 plus dependent £630 total of £1600 or £630 is enough for my dependent since he is the only one applying?
