irish naturalisation delayed fee

Post by billybob19700 » Thu Mar 29, 2018 7:55 pm

Hi,

I got my approval letter on 16-.03.2018 dated 14-.03.2018, i took me long to submit the €950.00 about 13 days (including wknd) because i am residing in Northern ireland, the process of euro bankers draft takes long, 1st question - is there a time limit for the days they mention on the letter, 2nd question are the 10 days only working days or wknd are included ?

10 workings days basically means 2 weeks. Working days are Monday- Friday.

If your letter says you have 10 working days, I assume you have 10 working days and can not pass that time limit you gave. But you said 13 days including weekend, so maybe you made it or not.

Call them on Tuesday and let them know you sent it on that date and it took you long because you live in NI

My letter says 10 days from date of the letter , not 10 working days . and when i got the letter it was on the 7th day so my fees got there on the 10th days.

I think he would be fine given that he was approved quite early.
