Integration into the UK - Bank Accounts, NI, Provisional License, NHS

Post by waitingforspouse » Sun Apr 01, 2018 1:27 pm

Hi Guys,
I'm just wondering what are the next steps once my wife arrives to the UK?

I guess she needs to register with a GP, open a bank account or joint account, proof of address, national insurance number, provisional drivers license, etc.

Can anyone offer guidance on these areas? I am not sure where to begin.

I suppose proof of address is first and foremost but what can we use? All of the above require proof of address?

Thanks.

Interestingly, if anyone of above as you mentioned processes and you got that then it will serve the purpose of proof of address for next. And usually the passport is the biggest proof of identity.
