Hi, I’ve had the Home Office request for my employer to provide my employment contract as well as the description of my role in the January allocation round (ps. my RCOS application has still not been approved, so fingers crossed going into the April allocation now).
They have done the same to me since December now.

Hi All,
My wife's employer has applied for RCoS allocation in this months quota. She was offered 35K as a Business analyst. i.e. She will get 35 points. Please advice us if there is any chance for allocation in this months quota? Thank you.

Hi Everyone,
I noted that my job has been added to the Shortage Occupation Category as of 6th of April, does anyone know if the April decision will include this change given that the application was obviously made before the 6th? This will change my points from 33 to 143 so obviously make a massive difference.
Thank you all,

Now youve officially got my hopes up. Just saw my job on the RQF6 list. What does this mean?

Unfortunately all this means is that you’re in a job/skill that’s eligible for tier 2 sponsorship. Really everyone here should be able to find their job on the RQF6 list.

SOC stands for standard occupational classification and not shortage occupation category.
Please check the shortage occupation list below and see if your job is on the list.
https://www.gov.uk/guidance/immigration ... ation-list
Also from what I have read your CoS application needs to clearly state that it is being applied as a shortage occupation for you to benefit from gaining additional points. If your job is on the shortage occupation list you can ask the person who applied for your CoS whether he/she applied for it as a shortage occupation.

Hi All
I've also had a look regarding policy changes but cannot see anything regarding the removal of NHS/PhD roles from the cap.
The only related news I found is an article regarding the plans to increase the health surcharge when applying which has been spoken about for a while:
http://workpermit.com/news/uk-tier-2-vi ... e-20180406
Hopefully we see some changes come into place soon. I'm in a similar position to most of you with 45 points, non-shortage occupation and applying since January.
Good luck to everyone this month!

I really feel it's extremely strange to not to have made changes, however as we know these discussions were happened 4th week of march
, I feel it's difficult to make any changes to the policy and update it immediately. I do belive that they should have atleast made more cos available in April to ease the pressure and narrowed the points band. Let's see what happens in April allocation we ll get to know in 2-3 days.

If they made more available for April all it would do was push more of a problem along later in the year. There are more available in April then any other month as it is.
Given we know they’re not going to raise the quota really the only thing that would work would be excluding certain roles from the cap.

you have to remember BREXIT is being processed. I believe they will be weary of that and that is the reasons it has not changed.
I am on 50 points although i am hopeful its not looking good.
but the ride will be fun.!!!!

Does anyone know if HO will manage to deliver the results this week?
I'm with 45 and since February it was always refused.

We should have a rough idea of the points cut off by the end of the week. I hope since this is a heavy month they have extra staff to deal with things quicker. Last month's wait time was horrible!

First day it was advertised is the start of the six month period.

How long does it usually take to get your sponsorship certificate once your RCOS has been processed?

Hi guys. I am trying to calculate my point. I want to find out if fixed bonuses and allowances would count towards the calculation of annual salary for the year.
Thanks

An easy way would be to ask the person who applied for your CoS what he/she has put/plans to put as your salary in your CoS application.
