Do you know what could be the reason for rejection. My employer is not saying me anything.

Am with 42 points. Applying from February my RLMT is valid till May. Am working for the same company in my home country in india worked really well and got this opportunity. My background verification is done and have submitted all the english requirement other documents from UK Naric. The fun is that I can already see my own id on Skype as my DOJ was April 23rd. I know couple who applied and got their RCOS the only difference was they had more experience than me and My salary was less than them but when it comes to knowledge and skills am par with them (not being arrogant though). I believe they will conduct another rlmt and reapply again (Am not asking as I have one more opportunity in May).
But my advice is just don't give up and keep trying.

I think they are trying to drag until the IHS fees increase (from 200 to 400pounds a year) because I honestly don't understand why the salary cap seems to be the same as Dec-Feb.

Because my employer has been unsucessfuly applying to get the sponsorship since February. Because there is no Tier in 2 ICT Short term visa ... So if some one is looking to apply for under Tier 2 there there are 2 choices ... ICT and General. Since there is no ICT short term visa and the minimum salary requirement for ICT long term is £42k ... Employers & employees are applying for Tier 2 ge real visa for their own benefits. Hence the number of applicant has seen a sudden spike so has the cut off point.

But even if the number of application increase because of this the increase will be below 40-45 points which means it will be hard for the pints below 45. But here the application only above 45-50 are being accepted and rest are refused which means the shortage occupations, PHD jobs and higher paying jobs are having the majority of application share. And that bothers me, coz every month they are in so much majority that the rest of points are not even considered below the cut-off and all the RCOS's are being used up.

I think 12 month cooling off period applies when switching from ICT to General. I am still not very sure. Can someone please confirm?

And that I feel is their plan as well ... Turn down majority of the applications and get skilled employees with higher salary band to get more tax from them. Thus way UK govt is in win win situation .... They get more tax and they can also go back to their people and say we have got immigration under control. We need to understand from their perspective because the last thing they care about is .... us !

A lot of what is causing the number to increase is Nurses being on the shortage occupation list; which at entry level are certainly not making anywhere near £60k. I don't think that this has been orchestrated by anyone, just that we have all had a bad bit of luck with applying. The Home Office is at fault for not putting any effort into correcting, but they didn't knowingly create this fiasco.

What I find frustrating is the lack of transparency. The Home Office is carrying on like nothing is happening and not issuing statements to let us know if they are doing something about the issue or not. I think that would help with the uncertainty, are they bothered or not. If not, it would be easier to cut out losses and move on.

sad state but I hope the nurses pause a bit and let the people here get through for a month - they can come in any month they like so we may be better off appealing to the nurses who are coming in - they will be more caring !

Hello people. Is there anyone with 45 points(45k salary) and didn't get any communication yet?
My company has done RLMT twice and this over-subscription scenario has perplexed the situation even greater.
Any one still waiting on 45?
