Hi,
I have 70 points in total:
RLMT - 30
Salary - 20
English -10
Maintenance - 10

I got RCoS assigned in March and I applied for visa in April(submitted on April 6th,2018). I have applied on priority but still awaiting decision. Any clues?

Thanks,
Raj,
What are the English / maintenance points?
Hi raj
The points you counted are for visa application thar is different to the RCoS points.
For RCos grant its just RLMT (20 points) + sal
Each salary band has specific set of points to it. Pls look at couple of earlier posts you can find the salary and and its points.

where are people with 45 voting on the survey as the 45 to 50 is one band but the survey shows it as 46 to 50? and the people who have 44000?

as per the survey is it right to assume that the 45 to 50 range is the 46 to 50 range and the 40 to 44999 is the one that says 40 to 45 this can skew the results badly a repoll is required then
Hey sorry, are you thinking the poll is salary? Someone else mentioned changing the answers to decimals like 40 to 44.99. I didn't know you could get. 99 of a point.. Unless I'm really confused!

the poll is points == but the salaries between 45 to 49999 k are all at 45 points and is the biggest bunch and needs a separate category if they get lumped with 40 to 44 the clear picture will not emerge. So we need to separate the 45 point into one separate line and if they get cleared and there is hope for all others

Oh right, I just made it to get a rough idea of where everyone is in terms of points. I could make a whole new one with all points individual? Yeah il do that quick. See if people will bother voting in that one also

use the link below to contact labour party. if a few of us write it, then it could get picked and that is massive for us. He is already pushing the govt on their faulty immigration policy with the windrush generation.

My HR said, the application has met minimum requirements but wasn’t lucky to be picked up from the lot allotted to NHS, for NHS, does it work this way.
No it doesn’t work like that. NHS come from the same allocation as everyone else. It’s just if you’re a nurse or another profession on the shortage occupation list you should automatically get enough points to go through.

@Hopeful42 - Thank you, can you provide any reference if any, so that I can substantiate my stand against the HR

Hi, no I don't have any references sorry.

But my employer is also an NHS Trust and they've been trying to sponsor myself and a couple of others since January and they always receive the same refusal email that everyone here does regardless of their employer, i.e. "you didn't meet the points requirement for RCoS this month".

There's no specific allocation for NHS staff and it's not about being lucky to get "picked", it's about needing to get enough points to meet the cut off for that month, which is the same for everyone, not just NHS.

Are you a nurse by any chance applying for that max 2x years clearance? Because if so the only reason I can think of for your HR to say that is maybe they've introduced some kind of cap on nursing because they were being mass recruited in bulk. We haven't heard anything like that though.
