Uk spouse visa overstayed by 3 months

Hi new to this my wife came to the u.k in june 2015 her spouse visa has now expired and i just realised that its been expires for a few months...we have 2 british born kids born here..but i dont meet the spouse visa requirement for 18600 i only earn 12000. Can anyone give me advice on what to do and what visa to apply for??
