My sponsor is assigning my COS today to apply for a tier 2 visa extension for 4 years.
My initial tier 2 visa was from June 2017 for 1 year based on a salary of 26,000.
Since it's a 4 year visa, the new application has to be on the experienced rate (which is currently at 31000).
My employer agreed to increase my salary last January based on performance to 33,000, this was never reported to the HO as the employer thought it was a normal annual increase and the job description or SOC code were never changed; i understand it is a big hike, not just a normal increase. However, it was never reported.
Now for the new COS and for my visa application following that, do we need to do anything? my employer already missed the 10 days window to report the salary change, do we just ignore and apply? do we report it before we apply? how do we go from here?
Please advise.
