Naturalisation and HMRC tax arrangment

Post by nikitasha8 » Thu Apr 12, 2018 12:54 pm

We have amde an application for Naturalisation for myself, mu husband and our son. Just realised that my husband is on arrangment to pay £50 to HMRC for tax he owed in 2016-2017 tax year. We received letter in Spet advising of tax he owed due to his second job. as we could not afford to make full payment all together we have arranged £50 a month arrangment which we pay everymonth on time.

my question is if this this will make issue with naturalisation application?

Thanks in advance

Don't think so as you already have informed HMRC and they have settled it with you to be paid in installments. Unless HMRC considers this to be a 'delibrate tax evasion attempt'', that is something different then.
