Dear all

Just to update my experience with the PEO appointment booking and UK NARIc Letter.

Desperately was looking for 18th June from last two days which was look like impossible. Suddently by 13.00 pm Croydon shows me 18th June and clicked and found only one slots. Very lucky as my wife only eligible to apply by PEO on 18th June and her visa expiry is on 18th June as mentioned above. Bless the person who cancelled his appoinment.

Applied for UK NARIC on 18th May. 20th May Payment £154 received e-mail and then on 29th May they again asked me to a leeter for University that the Degree was taught in English. We attached one letter from the university the way they give. They written it in very details and mentioned that the medium of instruction was english. So, you know in India to get a letter from the main Uni department its not that easy. So, got one more letter this time the way NARIC said. As the University registar understood his previous letter didn't work. I mentioned him particulary in the first time and gave the sample one as well but the registar told that they give in their standard way. So, spent all of my time here. Finally uploaded this letter and conted the dates after NARIC sent confirmation that documents uploaded successfully. Then I counted that it won't come before my PEO appointment so had to to in 48 hours fast track means another £132 plus. which upgraded yesterday and today got the e-mail that its complete and assessment has been despatched.

Need all your best wishesh. Now its time to fill up the form and arranged the required documents. Please help me in my need. Will update you if something comes up.
Many thanks everyone.

Thank you so much Vinny for your wonderful link. where I found some other answer as well.
Just want to make sure that their choice means Applicant's choice. Right?

As it's clearly mentioned that You can apply online.

You can apply with form SET(O) instead. Send it to the address on the form or take it to a premium service centre.

Dear Zimba88, Ianrezy, Shinwa, CR001 and Vinny,
Thanks a million from our bottom of the heart. My wife got the ILR

Our appointment was at 11.40 so took the ticket and submitted the application at 1.30 pm with biometric. Then my wife got a call by 3.20 and asked what visa on my daughter. She answered daughter is British. Then the case worker said it’s almost complete we will call you shortly. So by 4 pm they announced the ticket number and told it was success.

So much relieved now. All possible due to your right guide and support. May GOD bless you all.

Now when can I apply for her naturalisation? And which form it is?

Congrats.

If you are British, she can apply immediately on form AN if she meets the 3 years residence requirement, including absence and being physically present on the exact date 3 years ago when she applies.

Thanks CR001 for so quick reply.

3 years requirement: is it mean I have to be British since 3 years. Or you meant that doesn’t matter if I’m British now and she has been staying 3 years in UK including absence as long as she physically present adjectly 3 years ago from the date of application

No, you must be British at any point, even the day before, that she applies. She has to meet the 3 year residence requirements.

She can apply online and then use the NDRS service at the council.

Please ask British citizenship question in the Citizenship sub forum as it is not relevant to this topic or the ILR sub forum.
