FLR(M) visa questions and calculating salary

Post by grationhelp » Thu Apr 26, 2018 11:04 pm

Hi,

My pay varies each month depending on the amount of work undertaken, my lowest salary in the last 6 months is £1792.00. From my understanding I am considered non-salaried and can apply under Category A but my pay rate changed in January from £7.75 to £8.00, does this affect how I should calculate my annual salary and can I still apply under Category A?

What figure should be written in the employment letter? The average of 6 months x12?

I am also confused regarding section 9, I do not have a biometric resident card so I went to question 9.12.
9.12 Have you had your fingerprints taken as part of a previous UK immigration application
made in the UK or abroad?
Yes go to question 9.13 No go to question 9.16
9.13 Date your fingerprints were taken
D D M M Y Y Y Y
9.14 Give details where your fingerprints were taken, including the town or city and country
9.15 Give details of the British diplomatic post(s) involved if the application(s) was or were made
abroad

My fingerprints were taken when i submitted my application, it was at their office but i do not remember which 'british diplomati post' was involved in my application or taking of my finger prints. Anyone have any idea?

yes you will be a non-salaried person if your wages vary each month and if you are with your present employer from the last 6 months then you will under category A. In order to get the total of your annual wages then as you already knew that you have to take the total of last 6 months wages then divide by 12. HO don't care about as what you earn hourly rather only concern with the gross wages but still the hourly rate must be mentioned in employer letter. In your situation as you do not get fixed wages then preferably you should request your employer to add your last 6 months wages and mention it in covering letter.
Regarding date and location of your fingerprints then you should try to remember the place & date where they were taken.

So would i request the employer to write the 'average annual salary' based on the last 6 months?

Also when i calculate according to the calculation given in non-salaried my salary is around £23,000 but my p60 which came this month states it as around £19,700. should i submit my p60 or not? if i do how do i explain the differing amounts? I've only been with my employer for around 10 months.

Thanks

Don't submit p60.
