Immigration bail letter

Post by Maison7876 » Sat Apr 28, 2018 11:57 pm

Hello everyone. I am new.
I hope someone can shed some light to my problem.
I have just received an “ immigration bail” letter this week where I am summoned to go and report to Croydon next week.
I am soooooo nervous. What are the chan
kces I will be detained?
I have heard many many stories where people who go to report an are detained.

I called the center and told the lady that I was not able to go because I am ill. She said that
I needed to send all medical papers to her and they will give me a new date or work out something. She was actually very nice.

I am diabetic on insulin and you many more medicine and that day receiving that letter almost gave me a diabetic coma with all the stress.
I have all the relevant papers.

Also I just lodged my JR.

Just the thought of going there and be detained makes my legs shake.

My barrister says I have to report or I will be classified as an “absconder”.
What are the chances I will be detained? It’s the very first time I receive the letter after 2 years of battling with the HO.
Please do share your thoughts !!!
Thank you so much.

follow what your lawyer advice you, he is right.

at the same time, bring all medical documents with you thus they may consider your welfare. They won't detain you if your health does not fit, but will be asked to report regularly.

Don't worry too much. The HO is very sensitive with this now after the scandal happens recently. Good luck to you.
