Yes I would be applying for 10 years ILR based on long term residency.
So employment is irrelevant. There is no 2 job requirement for ILR(LR)
My comments are in no way meant to be advisory. I have no professional knowledge of immigration. These are based on my own experience, convictions and personal interpretation of publicly available information.

Wow...that's a load off my chest. I always thought I needed 2 employees for an additional year cos I have seen some posts referring to that. Could you please explain when that's required?

That is required for ILR based on 5 years Tier 1 Entrepreneur route.

Excellent...thanks. I will be eligible for that by December 2020 which would be 3 months after I'm eligible for ILR(LR) but ILR(LR) seems to save me the hassle it seems. Are there any advantages of one route over the other? Sorry if I sound pedantic...I'm just trying to make sure I cover all bases.

They both lead to the same end result.

Super Priority is available for long residence ILR but not for Tier 1 ILR.

Long residence requires much less supporting documents.

Long residence has stricter absence limits than Tier 1 Ent ILR.

Note that for long residence, you must have abided by all visa rules for the various visa categories you have held in the 10 years.

Hi All,
Update:
I got my entrepreneur visa extension today. It took 8 months and 18 days with no interview. My IHS wasn't refunded so I had no idea the application had been considered. Special thanks to CR001 and Marcnath. You are life savers! I wish everyone success with their applications.
