no visa decision letter

Hi,

My wife finally received her Indian passport with her entry visa yesterday. We have applied for spouse visa However, there was no accompanying decision letter with BRP collection details etc.
I have tried contact uk visa contact center - they are characteristically clueless and slow...they did say that she would be able to enter with just the vignette. I know the post office where her BRP will need to be collected from, as this was on the visa application.
can somebody please confirm if she will be allowed to enter with just the entry visa vignette within her passport, or does she need the visa decision letter too?

She only needs the visa that is in her passport.
