Tier 2 visa for part time job

Post by rgdundee » Fri May 04, 2018 1:05 pm

Hi all

Asking for a friend. A friend of mine in Singapore (indian citizen) has been offered a part time job in NHS- and they are ready to do COS for him.

What are the chances of getting a Tier 2 work permit for part time job (appropriate salary) from abroad these days given the current visa situation?

Any one been in similar situation?

For how many hours per week?

You cannot work 'part time' on a Tier 2 sponsored visa generally.

sorry,

They have made it full time job with a salary of 31000, but the question remains- what are the chances of getting the visa

NO one can tell you what the chances are. The applicant will have to go through the process including RLMT and earn the appropriate salary in addition to meeting all the requirements for Tier 2 visa and general requirements for entering UK.

if the vacancy passes the market test, and depends on the job is in shortage list or not, if yes. Very highly likely your firend can get it. If not, under current circumstance, nearly impossible, with this salary lvevel.
