FLR(M) English Language - B1 ok?

Post by javit99 » Sun May 06, 2018 9:58 pm

Hello,

My wife is applying for FLR(M) extension. She had done A1 English for the initial application, but I understand she now needs A2 for this. However for ILR and naturalisation she will need B1, so I'm thinking can we not do the B1 and get it over and done with? Tests aren't cheap, so would be great if we could submit B1 for FLR(M) as it is 'above' A2 grade... Please advise..

yes she can pass B1 level but strictly from the HO list. However, in the next 2.5 years of time if HO change the type of test then she might have to redo another type of test.
