Tourist Visa for USA for a UK FLRM visa holder

Post by sohaib » Thu May 10, 2018 12:34 pm

Hi All,

Not sure if i am in the right section, my wife is currently in UK on spouse visa 5 year route and currently has FLR-M.

I wanted some advice from someone who has FLR-M and has successfully got tourist visa for USA ? We are planning to go to USA for a holiday but i am not sure if it is worth applying for a tourist visa for my wife as she has FLR-M, i have been told it's very unlikely she will get tourist visa for USA.

She has been in UK for almost 4 years.

I would be grateful if any of you can offer some guidance.

Thank you.

She needs to qualify. Whether she gets one or not is not specific to her visa she holds for the UK, she must meet the requirements for a US visa and likely attend an interview.

However, if her spouse visa expires expires in the next few months, this might be an issue for the US authorities.
