Hello,
My sponsoring company has told me that they have received approval for my RCOS in May. They applied earlier than was necessary (my contract does not start until later this year) and will therefore be holding the approval but not assigning my RCOS or applying for the Visa until later this year.
I was wondering if anyone knows how high the potential risks would be of not actually getting an approved T2 if I were to quit my current job banking on the fact that this approved RCOS request will definitely turn into an approved T2. I understand that there is never 100% guarantee but would appreciate if anyone has any opinion/anecdotal evidence that it would be safe/not safe to quit my current job before receiving the full T2 Visa? From what I understand the RCOS approval is the hardest part and that the visa itself is more based on whether you can provide the correct information and documentation to the immigration office.
Any input would be greatly appreciated and thank you very much in advance!
