Carers Allowance/ Carers credit

Hello,

I am looking for some more information about the financial requirements of the spouse visa.

As I understand it, you are exempt from the financial requirements if you are a carer. I am in receipt of 'carers credit', not carers allowance.

Will this make a difference at all?
