When did you left the country or when was ur last tier 2 visa lapsed?kir wrote: ↑Sun Jun 10, 2018 12:55 pmHi All,
I have a question, I am applying for a new tier 2 (general UK) visa after accepted for a job that I have been trying for the past 2 years and has quit my previous job for this one. I was on Tier 2 (general) visa on my previous job. I was not aware of this 12 month cooling off period rule and neither anyone that I know of. I'm just wondering if there's anyone who has faced similar situation and if anyway I could still obtain the CoS and visa? It is very frustrating as I have worked really hard for this job and I thought I was doing everything right by leaving the UK before starting my new job as there was a 6 month gap I did not want to break any rules.
many thanks
Hmm
Sorry what do you mean by work through UCoS?ashishkm wrote: ↑Mon Jun 11, 2018 4:42 amHmm
As poper said you are eligible to apply on 27 Mar 2019, unless ur new job offered u a salary
159k GBP.
I am sorry for your situation, you would have taken an immigration specialist opinion.
Nevertheless, please check with your employer if he can extend your job as u still have visa validity.
If I am not wrong - to switch jobs within UK, u may work it through UCoS instead of traveling back and falling in cooling time issue
