Tier 2 General Visa Application after April 2018

Post by hitesh » Wed Jun 13, 2018 12:18 pm

Hi All,

My wife worked for a company in UK whilst she was on a PBS Tier 2 ICT Dependent Visa and now she is back to the home country as I had to come back due to health issues of my mom. As her employer is not able to find a suitable replacement even after conducting multiple interviews, they have asked her if it is possible for her to join them based on her earlier performance and are ready to sponsor her. I have few questions regarding this:

1) Does she needs to serve the 12 month cool off period?
2) Her primary role was related to financial analysis and forecasting business growth along with operations.
Which SOC code would be applicable for her?

Note: Her existing PBS Tier 2 ICT Dependent visa is still valid till Jan 2020 (as mine is valid till Jan 2020) but she cannot travel unless I go back to UK.

Thanks.

1. No.

2. She should speak to her sponsor, they must state the SOC based on the RLMT and job title and role, assuming they are an HO approved sponsor and have completed the full and proper RLMT process.

Thanks a lot for the quick reply.

Can you please also suggest if her existing dependent visa valid till Jan 2020 will be an issue to apply for Tier 2 General?

No it won't be an issue and if granted her own tier 2 visa, her dependent visa will be cancelled.
