naturalisation of over 18 child

Post by seemR » Wed Jun 20, 2018 12:49 pm

Hi

Can anyone guide me when can I apply for naturalisation of my son who is over 18 now, but he was 16 years old when he first came to the U.K with my wife on spouse visa dependant. He got ILR in February 2018. Does he have to wait for 12 months or he is allowed to apply before with my wife, who I think does not have to wait for 12 months.

Yes, he has to hold ILR for the full 12 months AND he must have 5 years residence.
