Hi all.
Got my approval today (subject to paying 950e, sending gnib etc)
Letter states to send everything in the next 10 days if I want to be included into the next ceremony

My biggest concern:
Current gnib is valid till 5 November 2018
The letter says that gnib needs to be valid on the date of ceremony.
What should I do if they want me to send everything in the next 10 days?
And do you think they consider including me to the ceremony of 10 September?

Thanks all!!
Yes they will consider you for next ceremony. They knew your card will expire on the 5th yet they approved your application. If you have no travel plans make the payment and submit your GNIB. One month before the expiry go to your local GNIB office with your letter of approval, they will stamp your passport to cover dates for the ceremony.

You will get an invite for sure. I would think they will start sending them out after after the small ceremony.

I have a short travel planned in the next 2 weeks, and I also have a gnib renewal appointment book for mid September.
I don't know what to do! =(

Hi mrrobotez,
Many Congratulations on receiving your approval,
to be honest, I would say its unlikely you might be invited for September 10th ceremony,(again, we never know what inis would do, still 10 more days :) ) but most likely you will be invited for November ceremony (I assume there is one, based on the conversations on this forum). All the best!!.
You have mentioned you are a non-EU national, could you please tell me which country you are from?
I'm a Non-EU as well and applied for naturalization the same week you did and waiting for approval.

Regards.

Finally got my approval after nearly 2 years from my application date! But I missed my 10 day window they mentioned as I was outside Ireland. Letter date 16th August but I collected on 31st August when I came back so I assume I was supposed to be included in the Dublin ceremony?

I really doubt there's no more big ceremonies this year! I saw many posts here talking about November ceremony, which makes sense since they have only held one major ceremony this year while they were typically 3 major and 1 minor across the last years!

I called Immigration office today and they said the same; end of Nov or early Dec ceremony and everyone who received invoice for their payments should be included in the next one in Killarney!

Your payment receipt is given to you on the day of the ceremony.
