@CR001

''As frustrating as the refusal is, HO unfortunately do not work as you wish them to and won't 'hold your hand and be gentle'. You were sent two letters, you likely also tried to delay a bit to buy time to get closer to 10 years ILR before varying (as many have tried to do and failed for the same reason you have been refused).

Have you been given the option of Administrative Review in your refusal??''

My application has been made invalid/rejected not refused :(

Perhaps type the exact wording of the refusal in full, taking out personal details.

CR001, does an administrative review apply in a case of rejection? I don't think I have been given any options here

@CR001

Sorry, I am making phone calls and simultaneously Googling to find this darn premium email address of UKVI.

The letter states that my application has been rejected as invalid as I did not enrol my biometrics in time or something. Trust me, it is rejection not a refusal. How can they 'refuse' an application on such basis?

I cannot see any refund in my account though so I am confused.

I will try to write the full content of the document once I have emailed them the evidence that I 'did' enrol in time.

Guys, please help me with this premium email address. My heart is sinking. I want to email this evidence to them as soon as possibleeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

''Hi

Sorry to hear this.

Try to get a legal advise, as you have documentary evidence that on receipt if first bio-metric letter you sent them a proof that you are unable to attend the bio metric in next 15 days.

They sent you a 2nd letter stating give bio-metric in next 15 days, so given bio-metric on 14th day [you MUST have a RECEIPT from Post OFFICE]

So if they have refused your application on this, just take a legal advise and appeal against this decision or take them to court. Avail all your options.

Thanks''

Thank you for your reply, Rock.

Have you ever contacted the UKVI by sending them an email to their premium email service? I don't know what it is called but I really need to send my evidence to them. Their phone number is painfully useless.

Was the reason you DID NOT enrol or did not enrol in time ?

It states I did not enrol in time. (I have recounted the 15 working days over 10 times by now)

If you have the copy of the letter that said 15 working days and you the receipts showing it was done on the 14th day, go ahead and write in to them. It may take time, but it should work out.

How much time are we talking about here in your opinion?
Do you still have the second letter ?

There is no premium email or telephone number that I am aware of.

Your next step is AR (I assume you have been given the right to AR). So, you can provide the 2nd letter and the date of the biometrics and your calculations. AR should normally take 28 days but you cannot be sure.
My comments are in no way meant to be advisory. I have no professional knowledge of immigration. These are based on my own experience, convictions and personal interpretation of publicly available information.

@marcnath, Yes, of course, I do have the second letter.

How do I make a complaint?

In your opinion, is that a good idea?

And lastly, is it safe for me to post the 'original' biometric letter with the post office receipt to the UKVI?

I am not very comfortable in stating this but I heard that this organisation has burnt documents of immigrants in 2009 under Labour (Theresa May corrected Corbyn during the debate session of the Parliament) and then I read somewhere else that the subsequent government deliberately passed laws to make good use of that illicit action, the unlawful deportation of Caribbean immigrants and Amber Rudd's blatant lies followed by her resignation etc. is it even safe to trust this organisation? I know that I don' t have an option but just saying. Should I send them a 'copy' instead of the original and keep the latter for the court, let's say if things don't work out in the first instance?

By the way, I also heard that 45 immigrants in total have died in the detention centres to date. All sorts of weird thoughts are going through my mind. Is it really true? Were they indirectly or directly mentally or physically tortured or something? I have never broken a law in my entire life and my track record is crystal clean. I don't know what is coming but I am not sure if I am capable of dealing with it.

A solicitor told me that she can send an email to their premium inbox but she is asking for so much money. I just do know how to secure this premium service email address.

I would like to thank everyone for replying to my thread. You all are great and very courteous people.

Last post I will make but it would be REALLY useful if you could post the whole content of the invalid/rejected/refusal letter (taking out personal info).

Were you given the option for Administrative review or appeal ?

Do NOT send the original. UKVI retained one of my documents and did not respond when I asked for it back. Ignored numerous emails and complaints.

Send copies.

Hi,

We understand that this is a very difficult time for you. But please stop panicking, as this will not help.
If you see senior members have asked you few VERY IMPORTANT questions like

Were you given the option for Administrative review or appeal ?

Please go through these questions and answer and they will guide you to best of there knowledge and experience.

I will say DO NOT send ORIGINAL Letter and ORIGINAL receipt to HO yet. You can send them a photocopy or certified copy in start
