Hello All,
I have checked this forum since May but I just made an account as I have only 35pts and I feel now I can be something than nothing here.

When I checked FOI for December 2017, there were some exceptional cases that gave RCOS to people who have lower points than cut off.

I am not sure if the HO borrowed some RCOS from next month?

Bases on FOI, I guessed this month cut off is to be lower than 45pts...at least I hope so.

Thank you.

Looks like they have borrowed 100 from August anyways 45 cleared door opened for others this unbelievable. Big backlog cleared thanks to new rules also I believe there we atleast 350 returned this month and there were less applications this month compared to other months.
45 approved mean major chunk is cleared I hope and I believe there are no other bad surprises coming our way. If 45 approved is true, then I hope points will go down further in this month(bw 40-44) itself and to 30 in August and below in september. God please bless us. The frequent questions from neighbours and others " when are you moving to UK" will be answered finally.

If things go well, can we all have a gettogether in UK, this will help to have good contacts and it will help to get used to new location quickly.

All the best guys, Please pray for all to get through atleast by August/september. End of a long wait.

Thanks

Yes, it looks like they borrowed 100 RCoS from August. But August is the last month with 2k plus RCoS. Quota drops to 1500 or so from September onwards.

I do not think they borrowed, I have a feeling even 44 , 43 and below are going through -- keep in mind they already had 2150 Rcos available and another 300-400 from previous 3 months + the new rules .. which would reduce the load by another 800-1000 thats a lot of spare Rcos ..

I am new to the whole process people.
I have 55 points. 55K Salary (35 + 20 points)
I have not heard back from the attorney yet nor my HR.
I am a software developer with 15 years of experience. I had applied last month for tier 2 general and my case was not successful. They have applied for this month too.

I read through all the posts and saw most of you had applied since many months.

Do I need to be in the system for that long for my application to be get picked or just having 55 points is enough a reason to be picked in July?
I mean what holds priority? The time or the points?

Thanks, Regards.
It's the points you are going to get your RCOS this month unless there is any mistakes in your application.

Congratulations is advance.

speak with them when the official results are declared

I'm hopeful about points coming down to 20s in the next few months. Congratulations to those who got cleared this month.

Hi, could you please elaborate on what you mean when you say 300-400 from previous 3 months ? How come they have leftover certificates from previous months if there are more applicants than certificates available (which is what's causing the point spike from what I understand). I'd assume they'd reduced the point required in that month instead of having leftovers for future use. And which specific rule change are you referring to? I'm new to this particular line of immigration so not aware of a lot of things so thought to ask.

not sure if to wait for the RCos to be approved then resign and then put in the application for visa or just resign and wait for Rcos
I strongly recommend not to resign before you get RCoS. Thankfully my prospective employers suggested me this as well

When people say 45, 50 & 55 still waiting, have you guys checked with your employer?

Sound odd , some got approvals on 45 whereas some are waiting with same or more points.

I didn't check yesterday, hoped to receive email from employer. But none come. Now I need to wait till Monday.
Since people with 50p already received rcos I hope it just delay from my employer and not some kind of issue with application.

There is a rule where unused certificates of previous 3 months are added to the monthly Rcos since the year started in April , July is the first time this rule was applicable .. you will see when the official results are out

I am @ 50 points, and my employer has always been slow in letting me know the results. I get to know the results here first than from my employer.

What if the cuf off is 46 and few people tickets borrowed from august, how we expect for the next month ? It is worst case but maybe good to understand the logic. Anyone see the current circumstance ?

Thats unlikely as always 100% applications at certain points will be approved or rejected.

We may see all 45 pointers getting approvals in next week.

It doesn't happen like that, how would they pick which 45 points go through? It's either all of them go through or none at all.

Good luck everyone, will have a clearer picture of the points threshold next week hopefully.
