Hello Guys
I have not heard anything from my employer yet . Heard that the new band scale for NHS has been approved by the Home office and a Band 6 should get 28050 k to start with . But guys can someone tell me even though a RCOS is issued by the homeoffice with this salary wont the UKBA reject ur tier 2 application once you apply for your visa for the Uk . Please help everyone .

If you are not a shortage occupation list job, you need a minimum of £30k pa to get a tier 2 visa or if the SOC salary is higher, then the higher amount per SOC.

For new entrants salaries for each code (if your age is less than 25?) is there any specific requirement? I am not sure how this works, though!

For new entrants it is different and it is what is stated in the SOC.

Me too! I discussed today with HR and the responsible told me in this cases is NORMAL take more time because Home Office must analized the data before sent the RCoS. Next week we shall be informed about the results, if everything is correct no worries

I´m waiting with 55 points non SOL!

It looks like all 3 of us are still waiting as our Employers have submitted additional documents. My application is still under review

I was refused with 33 points since last Dec but luckily my employer agreed to raise my salary and applied with 45 points this month.

No. You simply need to meet the requirements and points,

Perhaps start your own topic and asks questions about the visa application process presuming you have an RCoS, instead of asking visa app questions in the RCoS waiting topic.

Also, please read the tier 2 guidance notes, all explained in there.

This might get my employer to apply next month... they stopped applying two months ago... 39 points no longer sounds impossible thanks

I am in the same boat. 37 points and need to convince my employer to try again as they stopped in May.. They are asking for substantial proof of the points number being reduced.. I know this blog is there but don't think it is best to share data from here to my employer as it is not official.. Do you have any official links which I can Google to share with my employer???

I don't want to create false hope, but there is a real possibility that if 45 cleared, another band or bands could clear this month. That's what we're all hoping for!
