Finally some good news after 7 months !!!
Is there any thread where ppl can connect to discuss, post COS, queries?
Just make one with your specific queries.
To be perfectly honest the official UKVI website has absolutely everything you need.

You have the WHOLE Tier 2 (Employer Sponsored) Board in which to make your new topics & ask questions about the visa application. This thread is only for the RCOS allocation and if you have no news about it, please make your own topic in the Tier 2 board and leave this one for actual meaningful updates for the people who are still waiting -- me included

MRN, we’re at 41 points already. Assuming everything was in order with your application you can safely assume that you e made it already.

Hi all.
I'm a 45'er.
Really crossing fingers. Good luck to all
I myself was a 45er, so you should be good as long as the app was submitted with requiements.
If all of the app procedures were correct you should receive it shortly, not to worry

It's 9.05 AM UK time. Hope there will be more approvals today and I have a strong feeling that this will be a crucial day for those who are still waiting. If refusals start coming today, people below 40 may have to wait patiently till August 11. On the other hand, if approvals are still coming there will be something more positive.
Those who get approvals/Refusals, please let us know.
My Best Wishes to all!
Regards

I really hope the 40K clears today! It would make my year!
This is my second month but unfortunately this could be my last month to apply as my existing tier 5 visa ends on the 20th of August.
It would be a shame to be so close and to miss out!! I am sitting on 40p. Wishing everyone waiting the best of luck. Hopefully, we get some great news.

Nothing preventing you from applying/trying again RCoS. Your current visa has no bearing or influence on RCoS and Tier 2 General.

Yea I know but my employer needs to make a decision whether to risk waiting that late until they start searching for someone else. Also, it will be a possible further 4-6 weeks to go home and get the visa as well so its alot of risk for them and alot of time I will be out of the office. Besides, my current contract with the company ends on the 20th of August so they dont have any obligation to apply. They can just tell me we tried 2 months and it didnt work out. I also need to make alot of decisions on the back of a decision from moving out of apartment to booking flights if I want to travel before going home. Alot of decisions basically that getting this sorted out this month would eliminate for me.

My employer was applying since january but no luck. And in July they said they don't have any allocation left and they have applied for it. Once approved they will apply for RcoS again. What does this mean. Do they have to apply 1st to get allocation to apply for RCoS.
https://assets.publishing.service.gov.u ... l_v1.0.pdf
23.11 and 23.18
In essence, your employer will have an initial limit set on number of RCoS he can apply. If for any reason he needs more RCoS, he first has to apply for increase in limit.
Normally how long it takes to get this approval.

There is no set date. They finish when they finish.
There are certainly patterns, but last month and this month have both been a bit irregular, most likely due to the policy change.

If you are on 41points or above, surely you just need to follow-up with your lawyers. If there is no issues with your application then you should be cleared.
I have a feeling they've made the cut-off at 41p this month and are just reviewing those on 41 and above. Then if there is capacity left then maybe they will offer it to 40p - at least i hope so.
