Not as far as we know. 40 is still undeclared and shouldn't just be accepted as an automatic refusal. Let's hope the 150 or so people in 40 could be helped

Each band we go down is closer to someone else's bracket.
At the moment it's between 37 and 41? Let's hope!
How many points do you have?hndhnd wrote: ↑Wed Jul 25, 2018 2:04 pmHello,
I have received message below a few minutes ago from my solicitor. Considering 41pts approvals in this board, I really do not get message below, do you have any idea?
"I received an email from Home Office today – the request was again refused this month.
All requests with salary below GBP50 000 per annum were refused this month.
The Home Office again allocated the 2000 certificates firstly to shortage occupations and then allocated the certificates in order from highest salary. Only applicants with salary above GBP50,000 were successful this month.
"
Kind of seems like they're just using an email that they have been sending previously? We know the points are lower.hndhnd wrote: ↑Wed Jul 25, 2018 2:04 pmHello,

Yeah, seems like the solicitor created a template. He must be used to sending same email every month to every other candidate.thisB wrote: ↑Wed Jul 25, 2018 2:17 pmKind of seems like they're just using an email that they have been sending previously? 42 points has already been approved.
Guys... we KNOW that 37 was refused - anything below will automatically be refused. And we KNOW that 41 was approved - anything above will be approved if the application was correct.Anthb wrote: ↑Wed Jul 25, 2018 2:41 pmI was refused with 37 points (not enough points) not rejected.tulsi wrote: ↑Wed Jul 25, 2018 1:49 pmOne of post said 37 points rejected click on 39 tab u can see post.civeng2017 wrote: ↑Wed Jul 25, 2018 1:24 pmNot as far as we know. 40 is still undeclared and shouldn't just be accepted as an automatic refusal. EDIT: Thanks Batman! Now we know that 41 was the last clearance. Thanks for letting us know, and sorry . Next month!batman1909 wrote: ↑Wed Jul 25, 2018 3:10 pmRefused at 40 due to not meeting minimum cut-off points for the month.
Could someone please comment on this.amit2453 wrote: ↑Wed Jul 25, 2018 3:06 pmResponse from my employer: "The Home Office advised us to remove our applications as we had to redo the job ads on the websites. We did this but this also removed our existing certificates so we had to apply for a new allocation."
This is because my RLMT was expired but does this response makes any sense to anyone.
Oh that is crap! I guess that is me also even though i havent received a from my lawyers yet. I know HR will try to claim that we are far off but i would be able to convince my employer to apply in August if there is a big chance it will reach 40. It came down alot this month which was helpful but this is probably the end for me. I have 22 days before my tier 5 expires and I have to make the decision to leave or try again in August but need to move out and head home.batman1909 wrote: ↑Wed Jul 25, 2018 3:10 pmRefused at 40 due to not meeting minimum cut-off points for the month.
I really think it'd be crazy for them not to try again. But just a heads up this life of limbo thing is not fun, so you may want to think about what's best for your future.shide44 wrote: ↑Wed Jul 25, 2018 4:08 pmOh that is crap! Not sure if this is something you would know but, does it cost the employer to resubmit the application for another month or is it the same cost as the initial application. I could see why they would reject it if it costs them ££ every month they apply but if it doesnt then I could at least make the argument that it would be a waste of money and time for them to have tried for 2 months and give up when its more realistic to get through.thisB wrote: ↑Wed Jul 25, 2018 4:15 pmI really think it'd be crazy for them not to try again. There may however be costs involved if your employer uses a specialist consultant to deal with your application as a whole (visa included).
