TIER 2 EMPLOYER CHANGE WITH reduced SALARY

can you please help with below scenario.

I am currently in UK with Tier 2 G for salary of 52k. its only been two months.
Now I have got a new sponsor which is a fortune 500 company. They are offering 39K + benefits.

Can you please advise if this is a wise step to change employer.

What do you want the team to tell?

Is it on behalf of the visa process?
You can change the employer at any time if you fulfil the requirements. It doesn't matter you get a less salary than the previous or a higher than the previous. Appropriate salary for the SOC should be fine!

In terms of a 'wise step', it all depends on your circumstances. isn't it?

New company is a big company and future extensions wont be any problem. Hence wanted to switch but
I was wondering if HM might reject the employment change because of change of salary.

It is not an issue as already advised as long as the salary is in line with the SOC etc. There is no requirement in the immigration rules that you must stay on the same salary if you change jobs.
