I am in the similar boat as homeoffice suggested they were waiting for some mandatory checks and they can continue to review my application and get back me within 6 weeks
Hello happy that the complaint worked it was worth it wasn't it. Good luck future lifeitsmeagain wrote: ↑Tue Jun 04, 2024 1:45 pmmansooraahmed wrote: ↑Mon Jun 03, 2024 9:00 pmCongratulations- what was time difference between complaints team responding vs homeoffice approving your application?

Guys I finally have an update. I received my ILR.
My case was overdue the 6 months marker time. I complained to H/O as my lawyer didn’t want to chase on my application. They told me they are waiting for response from one specific organization. I contacted the organization & pushed them to provide the required information to home office.
Finally I was contacted by my lawyer that my visa was approved on 29th of May. Even though she had received the email from H/O on the 22nd of May.
During my entire case time, I found my lawyer extremely lazy, uninterested & unbothered. I even filled out my form myself, chased organizations to provide supporting statements etc. she was supposed to chase the police home report but only did it after 4/5 of submitting my application. I almost felt as if she doesn’t even want my application to be successful. I am so glad it’s done now & I don’t have to deal with her.
To everyone waiting, hang in there & good luck.
Any idea what mandatory checks homeoffice do?.Justtmee29 wrote: ↑Tue Jun 04, 2024 4:48 pmHello happy that the complaint worked it was worth it wasn't it. You stay in the UK. Leaving means the application will be withdrawn, ie. not exist.
Yes, you can stay in the UK during application your application will decide

They will double check your submitted evidence, then contact different organizations to see if those paperwork are genuine
