These screen shots are great! Thank you so much! And the information you are giving about the procedure really gives me some reassurance. One thing I notice on your checklist and hopefully on ours later, is that they only ask for any passport that has been in place since the last visa. I had visions of my having to scan my husband’s approximately ten passports going back to 1961! It does not look as if I will have to do that!

It looks like that for Tier 2 (General) to ILR, all documents should be submitted to Mandatory documents category.
I paid for document checking service and i received an email that all my documents are correctly uploaded under correct categories.
Hi aerobharath88, thank you so much for showing us screenshots of the application process, that is very helpful! Especially since many of us cannot start the process and upload until we pay ( I think that is correct??)
can I confirm that the document checking service will be done once your application is submitted, and if everything is OK then the applicant will receive an email? Or is that document checking service for the appointment itself, as in they will check at the center as well? How much extra was the service?
Thank you! 🙏🏽
hi Allyf,

for document checking services you will be asked to upload all documents 2 working days before the appointment. Once you do it, they go through and send you an email 2 days before the appointment too. Below is what is received on Monday.

Dear Mr XXXXXXXX,

Thank you for uploading your supporting evidence to the UK Visas and Citizenship Application Service website. We have now completed the following checks of the files that were available as of 12/11/18

· Checked for the presence of all mandatory documents

· Checked that all documents are legible

· Checked that all documents been uploaded to the correct category

· Checked for any obvious missing pages

· Checked that all uploaded documents are in either English or Welsh language, or have an accompanying English or Welsh translation.

þ No action required: Following a review of supporting evidence available, we can confirm that:

o Mandatory documents are present in all required categories

o All documents are legible

o All documents have been uploaded to the correct category

o There are no obvious missing pages in any of the documents

o All documents are in either English or Welsh language, or are accompanied with an English or Welsh translation that obviously relates to the original

Please ensure that you have read and understood the full requirements for supporting evidence by referring to the applicable guidance notes available on GOV.UK.

If you are unable to correct any of the recommendations above, you have the option of bringing your paper supporting evidence with you to your appointment and one of our Service Agents will be able scan and upload this for you (charges may apply).
Thank you so much aerobharath88, you’ve been extremely helpful 😊

If you read this topic through, some people reporting they got the decision after 24 hours but also some not, especially those got appoint on 13 Nov in Birmingham and there was a technical issue.

When did you book your appointment? Was it easy to book for an appointment within a week?

thanks.

I submitted my application and booked my appointment on 12/11/2018.

Yes, appointments were available from the very next day but at £100 for any slot of the week. Appointments beginning 19/11/2018 week were free of charge. I needed some days to collect my documents from the Bank. So i booked it on the 21st. I have uploaded all my documents on the Sopra Steria Website and just waiting to appear on the 21st. Im a bit nervous reading through some users saying they still haven't received their decisions even after a week. :(

I chose Birmingham only because it was a core centre where you would apparently expect things to go right. I live in London btw.
Hi,
Just had a few queries-
Did you fill form Set (O)?
You submitted the application on 12/11, & took an appt on 21st/11. I read on the website somewhere that you should take an appt within 5 days after u submit your application & if not they will send you reminder after 15 days. Is there a deadline by when you have to take an appt after submitting?
How was the process of uploading the documents? Did they show a checklist of any mandatory documents which have to be submitted or any sort of checklist or do we have to submit the documents which we feel are necessary?
At the core centres, do we the option of 24hour decision? What facilities are there at the core centres, i just know you get free appt there, but wanted to know if they also provide the 24hour decision at the core centres & any other extra services.
Can you please send a link of the new application form that you submitted. Can we start the application in advance (say a month before the 28days period) & save it or is that option not there?
Any other detail would be appreciated.

Thanks in anticipation.

this is what you will see when you have made the payment. At this page you get to download the checklist and your copy of the submitted application.

Uploading documents was fairly simple. Just choose file and do it.
So before uploading the documents, they did give you a checklist of the mandatory documents needed for Set(O), is that right?
Also, how much did you pay for the document service?
Can you share the mandatory document checklist please?

Thank you once again

I am so lost. I have booked my premiuim appointment for FLR M yesterday. 9th. And my appointment is in 10 days time. Obviously as you guys have seen it now says you can only apply online and has a new 11/2018 version of the form which is only to be used in the event of fee waiver. So my question is do i still go to my appointment in 10 days time as it is all paid for etc and do i take the previous version of the form or this new 11/2018 version which doesn't apply to me as I am not applying for my fees to be waved.
hello zonaib, I am in same boat as you. Please share any new developments on this issue. I am also lost. I booked my appointment on 7th Nov and not knowing that form will change on 9th Nov.
When is your appointment shukjag? I think it will be more clear when people start calling the call centre on Monday. I know I will be calling haha. I think appointment is still valid but just not sure about the application form.
My appointment is on 29 Nov
Hey mate. Our appointment was today at Solihull and it went fine. We used the 7/18 flr m form. No questions asked. In total we were there for 3 hours and wife was granted 30 month extension. All the best to you on 29th.

I paid extra £35 for the document checking service although the case worker at the Birmingham Core Centre told me that they do it for free until January 2019.

Hi All

I've been reading and re-reading all the advice on various topics as to how to secure a Premium Service appt, and like many of you I have been feeling a little insane with the constant refreshing and checking for newly available dates. I am very grateful for all the advice shared on this forum which has given me hope to not give up. I am happy to say that I have just this morning had success after just 2 days! Since reading a post by someone suggesting the new biometric UKVI service would be replacing the Premium Service, I felt compelled to message that this is NOT TRUE but also clear other confusions that I had in the hope it might be helpful to someone.

My husband is up for his ILR 14th December, I was confused with information that I read where it stated we couldn't apply until 28 days prior to the date his visa runs out. This is true, however you can still prepare your ILR application earlier but wait to submit it. You can also pay for the premium service and start searching for available appointments but just be sure that if you do, that you select a date that is before/within 28 days of when the visa expires.

Someone suggested that every day, new appointments are added for the 45th day however I didn't find this and to me it appears that there is no logic whatsoever behind when new appointments are opened up. I literally completed my husband's application on Tuesday 20th November and started the search for a premium appointment but not one single site had any dates (inc Belfast or even Glasgow as I was happy to travel from the Midlands where we live). Then as advised by fellow applicants, I was up till 3am and throughout the night awaiting new appointments to be added for ANY location but again, nothing. I was refreshing all day and night! As I was about to go insane, this morning at 9am I managed to get appointment slots available at Solihull! There were several from next week and over the next 10 days and I have indeed booked an appointment on the 29th November which is a huge relief! And I wish you all the same luck!

Sorry but was this a Premium Service Appointment at Solihull or a UKVCAS appointment? I don't believe the latter make decisions on applications but merely do a document check, scan and biometrics. You can always call them to confirm on 0900 165 6600

Hello,

I am happy to help. I was going through your situation.

The screenshot you displayed is NOT for the super priority service (the new one)- it is for the old premium centres which are closing next week.

What you need to do is to start over a new online application (you can even do it with the same email address) and then at the end of the online application you will be asked whether you would like to submit your application by post (they call it existing service) or you wish to sue the super priority service (they call it new service), you should then select the new service, and once you do you will be redirected to the commercial partner website to complete and book your appointment. Appointments in the new system are easy and available (at least until when I booked), no need to be awake again until midnight, good luck :)

thats right. First you get to choose if you are going to take the new system or the old system. Once you choose New System, you have to choose either normal or priority. i.e., Eith £2400 or 3018.50.

This is the link you need to follow in order to apply online (i.e. using the super priority service), you will need to answer some basic questions first about your application so that the system directs you to the correct online application route (i.e. tier 2 general, transfer etc.):

One last question, could you please check my 2nd screen shot in previous page and let me know if i am on correct site for ILR , please check the tabs above the screen shot. I am confused where/when the system will ask me if i want to use super priority service? at what stage in application
Unfortunately, it says that i do not have permission to view your screenshots.
Here is the screenshot, and is this the correct page /URL
This is the link you need to follow in order to apply online (i.e. using the super priority service), you will need to answer some basic questions first about your application so that the system directs you to the correct online application route (i.e. tier 2 general, transfer etc.):

https://www.gov.uk/settle-in-the-uk/y
this is really confusing, when i go online to apply for premium service application link, i am getting no appointments for 45 days,
2nd link is which i already posted in my previous comment.
I also signed up using a new email id but i keep on getting 2999 for priority service

thats right. First you get to choose if you are going to take the new system or the old system. Once you choose New System, you have to choose either normal or priority. i.e., Eith £2400 or 3018.50.

The screenshot which you provided earlier, looks similar to the one i posted, i was thinking the system might ask me at the payment page which service i would like to use.

There are several posts in this forum where applicants have paid for the 24 hour decision but have not heard for up to five or six days. It appears that while the decision may be made quickly, the letter confirming approval can take several days. In a couple of cases, the BRP has arrived sooner than the letter.

Regarding Old system, I think you have keep checking for appointments often to find one.
