Phew that’s great news!michali wrote: ↑Tue Nov 20, 2018 9:18 pmThese screen shots are great! Thank you so much! And the information you are giving about the procedure really gives me some reassurance. One thing I notice on your checklist and hopefully on ours later, is that they only ask for any passport that has been in place since the last visa. I had visions of my having to scan my husband’s approximately ten passports going back to 1961! It does not look as if I will have to do that!
Thank you so much aerobharath88, you’ve been extremely helpfulaerobharath88 wrote: ↑Tue Nov 20, 2018 9:04 pmhi Allyf, allyf wrote: ↑Tue Nov 20, 2018 8:20 pmHi aerobharath88, thank you so much for showing us screenshots of the application process, that is very helpful! can I confirm that the document checking service will be done once your application is submitted, and if everything is OK then the applicant will receive an email? Or is that document checking service for the appointment itself, as in they will check at the center as well? How much extra was the service?
Thank you!
for document checking services you will be asked to upload all documents 2 working days before the appointment. Once you do it, they go through and send you an email 2 days before the appointment too. Below is what is received on Monday.
Dear Mr XXXXXXXX,
Thank you for uploading your supporting evidence to the UK Visas and Citizenship Application Service website. We have now completed the following checks of the files that were available as of 12/11/18
· Checked for the presence of all mandatory documents
· Checked that all documents are legible
· Checked that all documents been uploaded to the correct category
· Checked for any obvious missing pages
· Checked that all uploaded documents are in either English or Welsh language, or have an accompanying English or Welsh translation.
þ No action required: Following a review of supporting evidence available, we can confirm that:
o Mandatory documents are present in all required categories
o All documents are legible
o All documents have been uploaded to the correct category
o There are no obvious missing pages in any of the documents
o All documents are in either English or Welsh language, or are accompanied with an English or Welsh translation that obviously relates to the original
Please ensure that you have read and understood the full requirements for supporting evidence by referring to the applicable guidance notes available on GOV.UK.
If you are unable to correct any of the recommendations above, you have the option of bringing your paper supporting evidence with you to your appointment and one of our Service Agents will be able scan and upload this for you (charges may apply).
So before uploading the documents, they did give you a checklist of the mandatory documents needed for Set(O), is that right?aerobharath88 wrote: ↑Tue Nov 20, 2018 1:19 pm[https://imgur.com/Z8ebDthMrunal wrote: ↑Mon Nov 19, 2018 8:01 pmHi,aerobharath88 wrote: ↑Mon Nov 19, 2018 12:11 pmthanks.ilovethebeatles wrote: ↑Mon Nov 19, 2018 11:26 amIf you read this topic through, some people reporting they got the decision after 24 hours but also some not, especially those got appoint on 13 Nov in Birmingham and there was a technical issue.
When did you book your appointment? Was it easy to book for an appointment within a week?
I submitted my application and booked my appointment on 12/11/2018.
Yes, appointments were available from the very next day but at £100 for any slot of the week. Appointments beginning 19/11/2018 week were free of charge. I needed some days to collect my documents from the Bank. So i booked it on the 21st. I have uploaded all my documents on the Sopra Steria Website and just waiting to appear on the 21st. Im a bit nervous reading through some users saying they still haven't received their decisions even after a week.
I chose Birmingham only because it was a core centre where you would apparently expect things to go right. I live in London btw.
Just had a few queries-
Did you fill form Set (O)?
You submitted the application on 12/11, & took an appt on 21st/11. I read on the website somewhere that you should take an appt within 5 days after u submit your application & if not they will send you reminder after 15 days. Is there a deadline by when you have to take an appt after submitting?
How was the process of uploading the documents? Did they show a checklist of any mandatory documents which have to be submitted or any sort of checklist or do we have to submit the documents which we feel are necessary?
At the core centres, do we the option of 24hour decision? What facilities are there at the core centres, i just know you get free appt there, but wanted to know if they also provide the 24hour decision at the core centres & any other extra services.
Can you please send a link of the new application form that you submitted. Can we start the application in advance (say a month before the 28days period) & save it or is that option not there?
Any other detail would be appreciated.
Thanks in anticipation.
this is what you will see when you have made the payment. At this page you get to download the checklist and your copy of the submitted application.
Uploading documents was fairly simple. Just choose file and do it.

Hey mate. Our appointment was today at Solihull and it went fine. We used the 7/18 flr m form. No questions asked. In total we were there for 3 hours and wife was granted 30 month extension. All the best to you on 29th.shukjag wrote: ↑Sat Nov 10, 2018 11:36 pmMy appointment is on 29 Novzonaib1985 wrote: ↑Sat Nov 10, 2018 10:23 pmWhen is your appointment shukjag? I think appointment is still valid but just not sure about the application form.shukjag wrote: ↑Sat Nov 10, 2018 10:04 pmhello zonaib, I am in same boat as you. Please share any new developments on this issue. I am also lost. I booked my appointment on 7th Nov and not knowing that form will change on 9th Nov.zonaib1985 wrote: ↑Sat Nov 10, 2018 8:52 pmI am so lost. I have booked my premiuim appointment for FLR M yesterday. 9th. And my appointment is in 10 days time. Obviously as you guys have seen it now says you can only apply online and has a new 11/2018 version of the form which is only to be used in the event of fee waiver. So my question is do i still go to my appointment in 10 days time as it is all paid for etc and do i take the previous version of the form or this new 11/2018 version which doesn't apply to me as I am not applying for my fees to be waved.
I hope you get you decision soon, i will be very greatful if you could please comment on my questions earlier.aerobharath88 wrote: ↑Thu Nov 22, 2018 11:10 amhi all,

thats right. First you get to choose if you are going to take the new system or the old system. Once you choose New System, you have to choose either normal or priority. i.e., Eith £2400 or 3018.50.dilse4srk wrote: ↑Thu Nov 22, 2018 12:23 pmHere is the screenshot, and is this the correct page /URLaerobharath88 wrote: ↑Thu Nov 22, 2018 12:10 pmUnfortunately, it says that i do not have permission to view your screenshots.dilse4srk wrote: ↑Thu Nov 22, 2018 11:27 amOne last question, could you please check my 2nd screen shot in previous page and let me know if i am on correct site for ILR , please check the tabs above the screen shot. This is the link you need to follow in order to apply online (i.e. using the super priority service), you will need to answer some basic questions first about your application so that the system directs you to the correct online application route (i.e. tier 2 general, transfer etc.):dilse4srk wrote: ↑Thu Nov 22, 2018 12:23 pmHere is the screenshot, and is this the correct page /URLaerobharath88 wrote: ↑Thu Nov 22, 2018 12:10 pmUnfortunately, it says that i do not have permission to view your screenshots.dilse4srk wrote: ↑Thu Nov 22, 2018 11:27 amOne last question, could you please check my 2nd screen shot in previous page and let me know if i am on correct site for ILR , please check the tabs above the screen shot.
