Good character

Post by naija99 » Sat Jul 28, 2018 10:46 am

Morning Forum
Please could someone advise a non EU divorced family member who wants to apply for naturalisation. Does he meet the good character requirement in terms of not overstaying. When he divorced his EU spouse April 2015, he didnt apply for PR in his own right until July 2015 so has he technically overstayed and will his application be refused?

He entered UK in July 2002
He was married by proxy (outside of the UK) in Dec 2007
RC granted Jan 2010 to Jan 2015
Divorced April 2015
Applied for PR in July 2015
Granted PR Jan 2016
